Why is the Bihar government traveling voters Adhikar in the 11th hour?
‘Gandhi to Ambedkar’ was to start from the prestigious Gandhi Maidan in Patna on September 1, marking the result of the voters Adhikar Yatra campaign of India block in March Bihar.

Voter Adhikar Yatra was a campaign jointly launched by the Congress and RJD and not only to oppose the special intensive amendment of the voter role in Bihar, due to which about 65 lakh voters have been closed, but also to draw attention to alleged electoral irregularities to go to surface across the country, with the Election Commission.
Emphasizing the sanctity of the vote, Sahni called upon the citizens to be vigilant, urged them to actively protect their electoral rights. He said, “Protecting the right to vote is not just a civic duty; it is the lifeline of our democracy,” he said, the public should ensure that their voice is heard and not diluted through manipulation or misconduct.
Sahani’s comments come amidst increasing political debate on voter rights and electoral integrity, and they are likely to resonate with opposition parties and civil society groups, which advocate for transparency and accountability in governance.
