The demolition starting on June 11 in the migrants’ camp, AAP hit BJP

The Bhumihan camp, established about three decades ago, has kept migrant workers of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal. The residents initially approached the court in 2023, alleging that DDA intended to “demolish their homes arbitrarily and illegally.” The camp has seen demolition drives three times in the last one year – this year and July 2023 in May and June.
On June 2, shortly before a Delhi holiday bench, HC was to listen to fresh arguments to prevent demolition, civic officials began to encourage structures at site in Govindpuri area of South -East Delhi.

Gupta said on Sunday that the officials could not go against the demolition orders issued by the courts and insisted that the displaced residents were provided with housing.
The comment took place amid the AAP criticism on the razing of the Madrasi Camp Slum Cluster near Barpulla in South Delhi, and a similar demolition drive in other parts of the national capital.

The Congress is attacking the government on handling the economy, claims issues of rising prices, the common people were getting a tough competition due to lack of private investment and stabilizing wages.
The report that Ramesh cited comes from Careedge, which revealed that India’s domestic savings continued to projection for the third consecutive year, slipping up to 18.1 percent of the GDP in the financial year 2023-24 (FY24).
The report also showed that in FY 2015, gross domestic savings declined less than 32.2 percent, the GDP declined by 30.7 percent in FY15. Meanwhile, domestic financial liabilities increased by 6.2 percent of GDP – almost double -doubled in the last decade – reflecting the increasing dependence on credit to meet the needs of consumption.
When this Comes for inflationThe Consumer Price Index (CPI) decreased by 3.2 percent in April 2025, the lowest since August 2019. However, edible oils (17.4 percent) and high prices of fruits (13.8 percent) continue overall food inflation. The report states that the upcoming Rabi (winter) crop, healthy reservoir water level, and the above general monsoon forecast are expected to support food price stability.
