Olympian Shift Kaur Samara On Tuesday, both individual and team gold medals for India at the 50m Rifle 3 posts of women at the Asian Shooting Championships in Kazakhstan Shaykant. He posted 459.2 impressive in the final to claim personal gold and led the Indian team to win with a joint score of 1753 points.Samara surpassed China’s Yang Yaji, who scored 458.8 runs to take silver, while Nabata Misaki of Japan claimed bronze with 448.2 points. The world record holder dominated the event from the beginning, qualified first with a score of 589.In the individual final, Samara displayed extraordinary performances with a score of 151.0 and 156.2 respectively. He maintained his leadership through a permanent-transportation round despite a late challenge from his Chinese contestant.Samra’s Indian team, Anjum Maudgil, and Ashshi Chowkisi had the team gold ahead of Japan (1750) and South Korea (1745). Samara contributed 589, the outpost added 586, and Maudgil scored 578 runs to secure the victory.Choky, who finished fourth for the individual final, finished seventh with 402.8 points. Two -time Olympian Anjum Maudgil finished 22nd in the competitive sector of 41 shooters.Indian shooter Shreeyanka Plain, despite being at the top of merit, could not compete for the medal as she was participating only for the ranking points (RPO).The victory marked Samra’s fourth Asian Championship Gold Medal, with his constant dominance in the game.On Monday, National Games Champion Neeru Dhanda won the Women’s Trap Gold Medal.

Neeraj Chopra in the last live update of Diamond League: Indian Jewelin star Neeraj Chopra, talking to the media ahead of the Diamond League final in Zurich on Thursday, admitted that he was not satisfied with his technology despite receiving a 90m-plus throw in the Doha Diamond League in May. The two -time Olympic medalist is aiming to recover the Diamond League Trophy, working on improving his technology under veteran coach Jan Zelezney.

Chopra threw 90.23 meters while finishing second in his season-opening Diamond League meeting for Javelin on 16 May, finally he was violating the iconic 90 meter mark for more than five years.

The 27-year-old athlete expressed his ongoing journey to correct his technology, especially focusing on using his run-up speed more effectively.

“I think I am really fast in the run-up, but I don’t think I am using the speed right now, 90 meters throw was really good, but technically I don’t want to say that it was right. If my left leg is straight and if I use the right block, it will really throw it well and then I will be satisfied with my speed,” said Chopra said.

On Thursday, when asked about potentially throwing 92 meters with better technology, Chopra replied, “You don’t know in the spear, you probably also go to four or five meters.”

A competitive competition is awaited as Chopra has defended Anderson Peters, the champion of Granada and Germany Vabber in the seven-man finals. The region includes Kenya’s 2015 world champion Julius Yigo, Trinidad and Keshorn Walcott in Tobago, Andrean Mardare of Moldova and Simon Welland of Switzerland.
