India’s GDP has increased, but the contradictions raise red flags

These concerns warn HSBC India, which recently flagged off the role of a soft deflation in increasing “real” GDP numbers in a research note and stated that consumer trust, vehicle sales and corporate income such as high-existing data do not align with official data.
Other institutions including JP Morgan, IDFC First Bank and Standard Chartered have also taken caution.
Regional inequalities are clear. Services and some rural expenses have increased the increase, but urban demands have fallen, manufacturing is struggling with slow sale, and mining and utilities have shrunk.
The more concern is that an unexplained 1.8 percent-point contribution in GDP growth suggests that the data can eliminate the underlying speed of the economy.
The export front makes the picture more complicated. While the shipments for the US increased rapidly in the quarter, most of the reflected companies are running to defeat the new tariffs imposed by Washington. Economists have warned that the actual effect of these tariffs will begin weighing at the increase in the second quarter.
For now, India’s GDP Surge has promoted optimism. But as Ramesh and respected banks have been underlined, exuberance may prove to be wrong if the fundamental drivers of urban consumption, investment strength and business flexibility are not stable.
The coming quarters will show that the April -zoon speed was a sign of sustainable expansion or only a statistical high point was facing deep challenges.

VIP founder condemns Modi for broken promises and betrayal hopes

Starting a strong criticism, Mukesh Sahani, the founder of the Vikasihail Human Party (VIP), targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, accused him of leaving the sublime promises that once shook the expectations of millions of people across the country.
Talking to the media at the end of the voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar – during which he was a constant companion for the opposition Lok Sabha leader Rahul Gandhi and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashvi Yadav. Guarantee of minimum support price (MSP) for farmers, and measures to promote income of backward communities.
Sahni alleged that instead of fulfilling these commitments, the Modi government was relying on ‘vote’ Theft (Theft) ‘as a means to secure electoral victory. He warned that such a strategy reduces the very foundation of democracy and endangens the trust of voters.

Voter Adhikar Yatra was a campaign jointly launched by the Congress and RJD and not only to oppose the special intensive amendment of the voter role in Bihar, due to which about 65 lakh voters have been closed, but also to draw attention to alleged electoral irregularities to go to surface across the country, with the Election Commission.
Emphasizing the sanctity of the vote, Sahni called upon the citizens to be vigilant, urged them to actively protect their electoral rights. He said, “Protecting the right to vote is not just a civic duty; it is the lifeline of our democracy,” he said, the public should ensure that their voice is heard and not diluted through manipulation or misconduct.
Sahani’s comments come amidst increasing political debate on voter rights and electoral integrity, and they are likely to resonate with opposition parties and civil society groups, which advocate for transparency and accountability in governance.

ECI tells the Supreme Court objections, claims can continue on 1 September

However, Dwivedi further claimed that “36 claims claim that the RJD party had mentioned in its petition, it was also ‘duly accepted.”
The commission further informed the court that it would issue a notification to the electioner within seven days with an incomplete document, which describes the SIR as a “continuous exercise”.
The ECI also claims that most of the presentations from political parties include requests for exclusion, not for inclusion, names from voter rolls.
The bench instructed the paralyzed volunteers to submit a confidential condition report to the concerned district judges, which would be reviewed on 8 September.
The bench also stated that the value of the base as a document, as represented in the laws and orders of the Supreme Court, is to be accepted by the ECI. Justice Kant said that ECI should accept the Aadhaar card as ID during the collection and review period of claims. However, Bhushan reported that the court urged Aadhaar to accept acceptance as an identity document only on 22 August, so voters are now abandoned with a great “lack of time”.
Both RJD and AIMIM have requested that the election-bound be extended to lodge claims and objections under the ongoing Poll Roll Revision in Election-Bound Bihar among petitioners representing political parties.
RJD has warned that the claims period ends on 1 September 2025.
Today the draft was marked the last day to file claims or objections to include names from the electoral rolls.
So, this question remains-Further objections and claims have been filed and accepted, but what is their fate in Bihar assembly elections?
