For Trump, tariffs are like toys- can India really trust him?
The fact that India has not signed bilateral trade agreement with the United States from the time limit imposed by Trump on 9 July, both are being seen well and badly.
The good news is that India clearly does not agree with everything that Trump wanted to accept us.
The bad news is that the longer the conversation continues, the more potus is likely to demand more than a valid pound of meat – if there is any such arrears.
India has been ‘lucky’, we have been told, because Trump has not yet sent his usually rude and kind letters, nor has it out for special mention to India. However, who can tell how long this charity can last?
Prime Minister Modi may have felt the risks of breaking bread with unstable and irregular US President so far. However, a long time ago, a ‘respectable’ with the US has been lost in killing the deal.

India MP MP Kapil Sibal said on Wednesday, July 30, India does not have enough war resources to destroy Pakistan, which receives support with advanced technology and aircraft from China.
During a special discussion on Operation Sindoor, Sibal, whose speech was interrupted at least three times, said, “China is now going to launch its 6th generation aircraft, and we are looking at the 5th generation aircraft in 2035. What we will do till then? If you are worried about defense, what are you doing in the last 11 years?”
He said, “There are 25 squadrons in Pakistan and we almost have it.”
Sibal criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah for not inviting Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at a security assessment meeting held in Union area on 8 April on 8 April.
A fortnight later, the Pahalgam terror attack took place, killing 26 civilians.
Sibal argued that the Center would have gained a better understanding of the ground realities by consulting a local leader representing people. “If Abdullah is not called for the meeting, how will you get information?” He asked.
Highlighting India’s military borders, Sibal said, “We do not have many resources that we can destroy Pakistan. We are not Fighting war with Pakistan alone. Pakistan and China are together. China is giving all technology to Pakistan. ,
The independent member stated that Pakistan has advanced aircraft, while “India’s Rafael is half -power aircraft”.
Sibal insisted that the Indian Air Force works with 31 squadron, which is the lowest count during any India-Pakistan conflict. Even the air chief had admitted that the country was “badly closed” in terms of the country’s number, which advocated an increase in fighter production rates.
An internal IAF study has emphasized the need to include two fighter squadron annually to meet the requirements to phase the existing fleet.
He said, “MiG -21 and MiG -29 are being phased, Mirage 2000 is being retired. You are left with SU -30 MKI,” he said.

Has the government asked America why Trump has continued to claim that it has broke the ceasefire?
In the Rajya Sabha, on July 30, Wednesday, BJD member Sasmit Patra asked the government whether it was formally looking for clarity with the US administration as to why President Donald Trump continued public reference to interact with Pakistan on India’s ceasefire.
Participating in a special discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Upper House, the Patra-the part of a all-party delegation, who went abroad to express India’s position against terrorism after the Pahgam terror attack-said that as an Indian, he accepts the government’s statement that “no phone call was made by the President of the United States between the United States of America.”
“It in itself speaks for autonomy and freedom with which India operated Operation Sindoor,” said Patra who visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leon and Liberia, as a member of an all-party delegation in view of Operation Sindor.
However, he said, “But given this reality, I ask with honesty, India has formally attained clarity with the United States administration as to why the US President continues public references to a ceasefire – out of which, all (our) accounts, neither their nor his administration played any active role.”
In response, BJP’s Ashokra Shankarao Chavan said, “It is surprising that the statement of the Prime Minister of our country has not been given any importance … what they (opposition) say, but do not believe what our system says.”

Responding to discussion of more than 16 hours in the Lok Sabha on Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, Modi reiterated the opposition’s charge on the claims of repeated claims of Trump’s “ceasefire” mediation, saying that he told US vice -president JD Vance on the night of 9 May that Pakistan would pay dearly for any attack on India.
The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, during the Operation Sindoor debate in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, accused Prime Minister Modi of using the armed forces to use the armed forces after the Pahgam attack on 22 April and dared to revolt the conflictfire broker claims.
“If Modi ji has 50 percent courage that Indira Gandhi had, then he would clearly have to say in Parliament: Donald Trump is lying,” he told the Lok Sabha.
