“Some of his descendants have distinguished themselves in politics, such as Basdeo Pandey, who was PM during 1995–2001, and the current PM Kamla Persyad-Bisser; first defeated England in Lord’s in June 1950,” he said.

He said that there is a lot for a luxurious multi-velocity Trinidad and Tobago compared to India’s connection.

He said that Williams was the first Prime Minister and former-presidency of the freedom movement, a magnificent historian, whose book was ‘Capitalism and Slevar’, which was first published in 1944, remains a classic.

Indira Gandhi had a long conversation with him on the subject, when he met in Port of Spain in October 1968, Ramesh said and said the host produced a beautiful film on his visit.

Ramesh further said that CLR James was an extraordinary Marxist scholar and activist, whose path-breaking works on history, politics, sociology as well as cricket, still read and analyzed.

Ramesh said, “More than someone else, he was extremely inspiring for the West Indies in 1960 and still revered in Frank Warel.”

I believe in the definition of Hinduism of Vivekananda, Mamta says the anniversary of her death

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee used to pay homage to Swami Vivekananda on the anniversary of her death on Friday, July 4, and said that she believes in the definition of Hinduism of the monk, which puts humanity above everything.

Describing Vivekananda as a “St.-Pitrity”, he said in a post on X that the message of universal brotherhood and peace by Swamiji, now remains equally relevant.

Swami Vivekananda, who is known as Narendra Nath Dutta in his pre-vaginal life, was born on 12 January 1863 in a rich family in Kolkata. He died on the night of 4 July 1902.

“Hinduism that believed in Swamiji is what I believe in, and that religion says that humanity is the greatest. Swami Vivekananda is inspired by the ideals of Vivekananda, I want the people of Bengal and the people of the country love each other despite religion, caste, or class, respect and love.”

In the post, the Chief Minister also mentioned his government’s efforts to ensure that the residences of Vivekananda and his disciple sister Nivedita have been handed over to the Ramakrishna Mission and Ramakrishna Sarda Mission respectively.

Vivekananda established the Ramakrishna Mission in 1897. Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, a female monastery organization on the lines of Ramakrishna Mathematics, was established in 1960.

The state government, Banerjee said, is providing an annual grant for the maintenance of the museum at Swamiji’s house.

The “Vivek Tirtha” is being built in Newtown as an educational and cultural center based on his vision and philosophy. For this, we have borne for the Ramakrishna Mission a part of the land and the cost of construction, “he said.

The CM said that to further spread Swamiji’s ideals among the new generation, the state government launched ‘Vivek Chetan Yatsav’ on its birthday on 23 January.

Banerjee mentioned that various government schemes for the youth community were named after the monk.

He said, “We have changed the name of Salt Lake Stadium to ‘Vivekananda Yuva Bharti Krrangan’.”

Government officials booked by CBI for manipulation of regulatory structure for medical colleges

The Union Health Ministry has the roots of the syndicate, where eight accused officers run the sophisticated scheme, which facilitates unauthorized access, illegal repetition and proliferation of highly confidential files and sensitive information has been given to representatives of medical colleges through a network of mediators in exchange for large bribes, CBI FIR alleged.

It alleged that the authorities manipulated the statutory inspection process conducted by the NMC, in connivance with middlemen, which by revealing the inspection program and identification of specified evaluators to the well -related medical institutions before official communication.

The CBI has nominated Poonam Meena, Dharamvir, Piyush Malayan, Anoop Jaiswal, Rahul Srivastava, Deepak, Manisha and Chandan Kumar as accused in the FIR.

He allegedly located the files and clicked pictures of the noting and comments made by senior officials.

This important information related to the regulatory status and internal processing of medical institutions in the ministry gave colleges a dangerous degree of leverage, allowing them to orchestrate detailed deception to hoodwink the inspection process according to the CBI.

“Such prior revelations have enabled medical colleges to orkstrate the system of fraud, in which the evaluator’s bribe, non-existence or proxy faculty (ghost faculty) deployment, and to secure the favorable inspection reports, and to artificially involve the entry of imaginary patients for project compliance during inspection, and are asked to fake.”

The agency has mentioned the bribe running for millions of rupees being exchanged between NMC teams, middlemen and representatives of medical colleges, which were rooted through hawala and used for several purposes, including one in the name of construction of a temple.
