Police gave more time to question Liverpool Parade suspect

The Mercesis Police has been given more time to question the suspect who allegedly got into the crowd Liverpool Fans during team Premier League Vijay Parade on Monday.
A 53 -year -old man of West Derby, who was Arrested on suspicion of attempt to murderUnqualified, dangerous driving crime and driving through drugs after colliding with pedestrians at Liverpool City Center remains in police custody, disqualified through drugs.
A total of 79 people were injured in the incident, police confirmed that seven people live in hospital in stable condition.
The police was given an extension to keep the suspect for more than 48 hours and he would have to either accuse him with a crime or release it by Thursday evening.
The police have also confirmed that the water street, where the incident took place, has now been reopened to vehicles and pedestrians after standing under the police cordon.
The Prime Minister Kir Stmper on Wednesday visited the Liverpool Police Headquarters to meet senior officials and the city’s mayor.
He said, “The scenes on Monday were only terrible, to see that incredible bliss on a wonderful achievement became scary in a moment,” he said.
Spy Superintendent Rachel Wilson Said in a statement: “I am happy to say that the number of people in the hospital is decreasing because they continue to recover from the terrible incident.
“We continue to support those who are still receiving treatment and as part of our ongoing inquiry we are identifying more people who were injured.
“I want to assure the people of Mercesis that the spies are making important progress because we want to establish the complete circumstances what happened.
“In addition, extensive CCTV interrogation is being done across the city to install car movements, a Ford galaxy, before the incident occurred.
“We already have an incredible response from many of those who were that day, and I thank them for their cooperation with our investigation.
“I will encourage anyone, who has not yet contacted the police who can be aware of the incident to do so.
“A comprehensive investigation continues in the accurate circumstances of the incident, and we continue to ask people that the circumstances around the incident do not get speculation and avoid sharing crisis online.”
