Rahul Gandhi accused EC of ‘removal of evidence’ instead of responding

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accuses the Election Commission (ECI) of India of “removing evidence” on Saturday, 21 June, when the pole body required “answers” after the pole body was instructed to destroy CCTV, webcasting and video footage of elections after 45 days.
“Voter List? Machine -will not give ecstatic format. CCTV footage? The law changed to hidden. Election photos and videos?
“It is clear that the match is fixed. And a certain election is poison for democracy,” the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha posted in Hindi.
Rahul Gandhi is demanding voter list, poll data and video footage from the Election Commission alleging irregularities in the Maharashtra assembly elections.

Following the Congress leader’s response, the pole body directed its state poll authorities to destroy CCTV, webcasting and video footage of the election process after 45 days, if not challenged in courts within that period, saying that it is afraid of using its electronic data to create a “malicious story”.
In a letter to the Chief Electoral Officers of the state on 30 May, the EC stated that it has issued instructions to record various stages of the election process through several recording equipment – photography, videography, CCTV and webcasting during the election process.
While electoral laws do not make such recording mandatory, the commission uses them as an internal management tool during different stages of the electoral process.
“However, the recent misuse of this material by non-confusion to spread misinformation and malicious stories on social media by selective and out-of-contexture use of this material, which will not increase any legal results, has inspired a review,” it is said.
It has now told its state poll heads that CCTV data, webcasting data and photography of election processes will be preserved for 45 days in different stages.
“If no electoral petition is filed in relation to a particular constituency, the said data can be destroyed,” this directive.
Any person can file an “election petition” challenging the election decision in the concerned High Court within 45 days.

The colors of the opposition in the form of ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ in Patna fly high

Pandey accused the BJP and the Election Commission of conspiring through special intensive amendment (SIR) of the electoral rolls to deprive the poor, backward, minorities, Dalits, tribal and agricultural communities. He said that the Legislative Assembly of Jharkhand has already passed a resolution against Sir, described it as “direct attack on democracy”.
Echoing this, Tripathi told reporters in Kolkata before leaving for Patna that TMC would use the journey to highlight “Vote Chori” (theft of votes) and to highlight the message of Mamta Banerjee. Former cricketer Yusuf Pathan gave voice to similar views. Both sides are part of the national opposition block India.
Launched by Rahul Gandhi on August 17, the yatra focused on alleged voter repression in Bihar. Opposition parties claim that a draft for a “attack” on voting rights claims to remove 65 million names from the electoral roll. The Election Commission published the names following a directive from the Supreme Court to release the list by August 19 and file a compliance report by 22 August.

Congress’s reluctance
NCERT blamed the Congress for accepting ‘partition’. It is also, required nuances. Congress leaders, especially Gandhi and Azad, opposed the partition to the very end. Gandhi went so far that Jinnah should be offered to the leadership of a joint government to maintain unity. Nehru and Patel eventually accepted the division, the only way to prevent endless bloodshed.
Azad reduced the Congress’ impatience, while Ambedkar, in Partition of Pakistan or IndiaThe argument was expressed that it was indispensable in view of communal polarization. Ram Manohar Lohia, in Men convicted of partition of IndiaAll aristocrats – Jinnah, British, Congress and Hindu communalists – responsible, are calling for future reunion through democratic socialism.
The NCERT is historically incorrect and morally suspicious, as NCERT modules to present the untouchable approval of the syllabus to Congress leaders as a writer.
Serious scholarships – from Bipan Chandra and Sumit Sarkar to Musirul Hasan, Gyanendra Pandey and Urvashi Buttia – have seen many interlocking factors that are leading to partition:
• Colonial policies that surround the divisions
• Competition of communal nationalism to be fed to each other
• Leading failure in communities
• Structural concerns of minorities, caste groups and provinces
• Administrative haste that converted political isolation into collective slaughter
Pandey’s Recall partition The fact underlines how violence shaped the national identity and silenced subaltern voices – especially women who were kidnapped, raped or displaced. Hassan A legacy of a divided nation After 1947, while maintaining cycles of doubt, Hindu prominence and Muslim separatism reflected each other.
The truth is complex, is multi-layered-and our students should be exposed to all dirty, confused complexities of the story. The NCERT offering them is an prosecution-shaped cheating sheet.
