Rajasthan Royals claimed cricket news in Supreme Court, shocking Sreesanth

Long shadow of a decade -old case that included former India fast bowlers S sreesanth Has reached once again Supreme CourtIs pulling Rajasthan Royals In the spotlight. In 2012, Sreesanth was dropped from the IPL season after suffering from a knee injury during a practice match in Jaipur. Royals, who insured their players under a special contingent policy of more than Rs 8.7 crore, filed a claim of about Rs 82 lakh, arguing that the injury left them in disqualified to participate that year. The insurance company, however, saw things differently. The United India Insurance dismissed the claim, which insisted that Sreesanth had already been taking toe injury since 2011, which was not disclosed when the policy was taken. According to him, this previous injury affected his availability, which made Royals claim invalid. The matter went before the National Consumer Disputes Prevention Commission, which biased with the franchise and ordered the insurer to pay. But the company has since appealed to the Supreme Court since then, where the matter is now being seen again. In court, Royals said toe injury never prevented Sreesanth from playing and the only reason for missing the season was that there was a fresh knee injury during the insured period. His lawyer also reported that fitness certificates were presented at the time of insurance, with the next knee injury. A bench of Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta questioned whether the toe injury was formally revealed. He also noted that if the insurer knew the injury, he could deny coverage or charge high premium. For now, the matter is unresolved. The Supreme Court has asked the insurance firm to produce additional documents, including Sreesanth’s fitness certificate and basic application for policy. Till then, the decade -old dispute between a cricket franchise and its insurer continues, Royals are still waiting for their claim to response.

The competition between West Delhi Lions and South Delhi Superstars saw the temporary when Rana slapped Rathi for six, the spinner’s signature notebook festival. Rathi reacted angrily, causing a warm exchange, where the two players were to be separated by teammates and officials. Despite the intensity of the conflict, Rana refrained from increasing the case in his post -match comments. He said that if he instigated, he would never return, but stopped blaming Rathi directly. Ashwin appreciated this restraint, speaking on his YouTube channel Ash. “I just want to say one thing, in our lovely game, if a bowler does something, if he emerges as a character, we are not ready to accept it. Maybe in the case of this fight between Nitish Rana and Rathi, the mistake will lie with the spinner. But the respect for Rana has increased in my eyes.” He said how Rana managed the situation after a major performance with the bat. “It was Rana’s day. He hit 15 sixes. After the game, he was asked ‘what happened?” The way he handled it, he said that the mistake could be of him or Digvesh. Both the players were fined for the incident, in which Rathi lost 80 percent of his match fees, while Rana was done 50 percent. Nevertheless, Ashwin felt that Rana showed maturity. “My honor for Nitish Rana has increased very much. As a spectacle, we all like to see it, but the fact is that we do not need to kill anyone. It is very easy to bring someone down when someone is in the excitement of victory. But they chose not to do so.”
