Bengaluru: Most of the discussion on the Asia Cup squad which was declared last month was focused on a player, which was not in the list of 20 (including five reserves) – Shreyas Iyer,The Vipul batsman has more experience, expertise and adaptability than many people selected for the tournament in Dubai, but is not in the plan of the T20 plans of the think-tank. South vs. north

In the other final -4 competition, the South takes to the north region with both sides, with injuries and non -availability of players to cut and replace their squad.Unlike previous years, when players from major states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu had a strong presence, the version focuses on players from Kerala. In the absence of Asia Cup-bound Tilak Verma, the South is headed by Mohammad Azharuddin, who killed Kerala in the presence of a historic Ranji Trophy Finale last season.The mixture in the south has a smattering of youth with some old workhears.On the other hand, North will be without pacers Arshdeep Rana and Harshit Rana, which will make it a single competition.
