Should India boycott the Asia Cup match against Pakistan?

The former Indian batsman created similarities with the 2019 Pulwama Terror Attack, killing 40 CRPF personnel. He said, “This happened in Pulwama as well. So how can we enjoy the game? It is beyond my comprehension. So I am boycotting it personally,” he said. The twist also questioned the argument behind playing Pakistan, indicating that the relationships bring a little more than the television rating. “What is the benefit? You have to get TRP; you need revenue? If ICC people cannot get rid of them, you should get rid of that game. In other sports, you do well. See what happens. This will be a statement of our country, ”he said.He further outlined the emotional trauma families of the martyrs when such a data is staged. “When we know that these terrorists are coming from our neighboring countries, Pakistan … What is the matter of playing with Pakistan? Families that lose their members – in which mindset they will be? When a soldier sacrifices his life, we do not have to play against the same country from where terrorists come from.” This should not happen.Tiwary’s strong words have once again placed the spotlight at the uncomfortable intersection CricketPolitics, and national spirit ahead of the Asia Cup.
