Pakistan, Afghanistan, UAE to play three -series in preparation for Asia Cup – Full Schedule | Cricket news

Afghanistan, Pakistan and UAE are all set to participate in a T20 tri-series in Sharjah in August-September. The Emirates Cricket Board will host the tournament, will give these teams the time of valuable preparation before the T20 Asia Cup starting on 9 September in the United Arab Emirates.The TRAI-series will follow a round-robin format where each team plays twice against others. Subscribe now!Among the participating teams, Pakistan conducts the highest ICC rankings at number 8, followed by Afghanistan at number 9, and UAE at number 14. The tournament replaces the three T20Is already employed between Pakistan and Afghanistan according to the ICC’s Future Tour program.Pakistan is currently playing in a white-ball series against the West Indies, where he has won his first game. He will launch his Asia Cup campaign against Oman on 12 September. Afghanistan, who has not played T20I since his Zimbabwe series last year, will face Hong Kong in his Asia Cup opener on 9 September.Looking forward for the 2026 T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka, both Pakistan and Afghanistan have already secured their spots. Afghanistan qualified by finishing the top seven teams in the last World Cup, while Pakistan created it through its ICC rankings till June 30, 2024. Standing strong with my people,” Gill wrote.Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh Promised support by offering 10 boats for rescue operations in flood affected areas.

Amidst the floods in the state, India Test Captain Shubman Gill deployed in solidarity with the people of Punjab.

Amritsar has affected 35,000 people, while Ferozepur and Fazilka are affected by 24,015 and 21,562 people respectively.Several agencies have been mobilized for relief and rescue operations. National disaster response force 20 teams have been deployed, while the Army, Navy and Air Force have contributed 10 columns, with eight more standby.More than 35 helicopters are currently involved in rescue operations, supported by 114 boats and a state helicopter. The Border Security Force has also been deployed in the affected border areas to assist in rescue efforts.
