Rahul Gandhi said that his party had doubted poll irregularities in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections last year, then in the Lok Sabha elections and it moved forward in Maharashtra.

“We believe that vote theft took place at the state level (in Maharashtra). The voter was amended and crores of voters were added. Then we went out in detail that the EC was not helping and decided to excavate deeply in it,” he said.

Gandhi said, “We have been investigated, it took six months and what we have found is an atomic bomb. When this explosion occurs, the EC will not have any place to hide in the country,” Gandhi said.

The Congress leader also warned that in the EC people who are involved in it, from top to bottom, must remember that they will not be spared because they are “working against India”.

“This is treason, nothing less than this. You can retire, you can be anywhere, we will find you,” Gandhi said.

Following the Congress leader’s remarks, he wrote to the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla along with the leaders of several opposition parties, urged him for a special discussion without a special discussion on the voter list amendment in Bihar.

In his letter to Birla, opposition MPs expressed deep concern over the special intensive amendment (SIR) exercise in Bihar, especially a few months before the state assembly elections.

The opposition has staged a protest against Sir in both houses of Parliament, alleging that the EC practice aims to “disintegrate voters” before the assembly elections in Bihar. They are demanding discussion on this issue in both homes.
